Good evening StockBandits!
It was a choppy session today with narrow ranges in the indexes as the market struggled to find momentum in either direction. Ultimately, a late-day pullback sent the S&P 500 slightly negative as the NAZ gave up modest gains to finish about flat.
This was another day of rest essentially, as volume sagged again and overall prices went nowhere. There were some pockets of momentum in a handful of names, but it was the kind of day where booking quicker profits generally paid better than trying to hold for the bigger moves.
The indexes are still holding up well, and the finishes in the same price zones over the past few sessions shows that the bulls aren’t letting things slip yet. It points to the best form of digestion as the rally is thus far seeing a correction in time (heading sideways) rather than in price (pullback).
In working my watch lists tonight, there were a few standout names, but nothing I can’t live without on an overnight basis – particularly with the market doing its best to put in some well-deserved rest. So I’ll be a day trader for tomorrow’s session while allowing more of the charts to base out and letting more patterns mature and continue building.
I’ll cover my game plan for tomorrow in the video, and as always, feel free to share your own thoughts, trade ideas, and questions down below in the comments section.
