Hit List 11-7-2011

November 7, 2011 By Jeff White Filed Under: Hit List

The Hit List is a look at our current swing trading positions. Stocks we are already in have “triggered”, while those we are considering for plays have not triggered. Click post title to view print-friendly link.

ESRX Target 1 hit & stop raised

Open Position Notes:

ESRX continued higher today to push through Target 1, allowing me to close 1/2 my position for a quick 5.4% profit.  Volume picked up again but doesn’t appear to have climaxed yet, and there’s still room on the chart for more strength.  The past 2 sessions have been solid for this swing trade, so I’ll be watching for continuation in the days ahead.  I’ve tightened my stop tonight for remaining shares to just beneath today’s low, as I wouldn’t want to see the entire bar given back.  Should the stock strengthen but stall just shy of Target 2, I’ll send out an intraday alert noting any changes I’ll make (if any).

Closed Positions:

No closed positions.

      Hi Tao!

Yes ADTN is still valid, it just hasn’t triggered yet. I left it on the Hit List and will still enter if/when it crosses $34 as long as it’s on the Hit List. If it never goes, I will remove it and it will no longer be valid after being removed. But as long as it’s on there, yes it is valid.

      Go get ’em tomorrow!
