ISIL edged past Thursday’s high on Friday, but couldn’t hold up, ultimately reversing lower on increased volume.  The move hit my raised stop for the 2nd half of my position, taking me out for a 2.5% gain on the overall position (including Target 1 being hit for 1/2 my trade on Thursday).  This one never quite accelerated higher as I had anticipated, but it still worked out to be a winner, which is nice.  I’ll keep it on the radar in case it sets up again, but right now it’s not showing much momentum.

ISIL stop raised

Open Position Notes:

ISIL moved up again today, but once more in a very quiet fashion.  This one is now just a few cents from Target 1, and with even a little acceleration could hit both targets any day. I’ve raised my stop for this trade again tonight, looking to lock in a gain even if it happens to turn lower from here.  If Target 1 is reached tomorrow, I’ll likely raise my stop again via Twitter (@TheStockBandit).

Open Position Notes:

ISIL edged higher on the day, and at its best point was less than 1% from Target 1.  The stock looks to be trying to turn higher here after several days of indecision, so I’m eager to see if it can gather some momentum and head toward the Targets.  I’ve raised my stop for this trade tonight, setting it just beneath multi-day support while still giving it some freedom of movement.

Open Position Notes:

ISIL finished about flat on the day, dropping in the morning but recovering from there.  This stock continues to hold above the breakout zone, so I’m staying with it while it’s resting here.  I’d like to see it accelerate higher, but with the overall market stagnating at the moment and with widespread light volume, I may have to wait.  My stop remains as-is heading into Tuesday’s session, as I’m allowing this one some freedom of movement until it can make further upside progress and warrant tightening.

ISIL edged higher again on Thursday to finish out the week looking respectable, and perhaps in the coming week we can see some upside acceleration.  I like the fact this one has tested the downside in recent days and prevailed, so let’s see if it can gather some better momentum and head toward the Targets.  I’ll leave my stop as-is for Monday’s session.
